Welcome!

I am excited to introduce you to our church.   We are passionate about our ministry and our mission.

At Lee’s Summit Community of Christ our doors are open to all people that are seeking to build and grow a relationship with Jesus Christ.  We pride ourselves on being a welcoming and loving community.  No matter where you are in life’s journey, we invite you to come and experience worship with us.  When we gather together in worship as a faith community we are provided a chance to refresh our faith and deepen our understanding.  It is also a safe place where you can find support as you make and renew your commitment to follow Jesus.

Inside and outside of worship there are many opportunities to gather together and share in caring fellowship.  As we share together, in study group, Sunday school, or over a meal, we deepen our friendships.  The relationships that can be built within a church family are priceless.  I know that on a personal level, being part of this church family means more to me than I can say.  It is so comforting to know that there are others on this journey with you, that love Jesus Christ, and are willing to help you when times get tough. 

There are many examples in the Bible of Jesus caring deeply about those he met.  He took time to share a meal, share a story, and show compassion.  This is the kind of Christian we strive to be.  We value and honor each individual and respect where and who you are.  We hope that as we share together in the Lee’s Summit Community of Christ, we will strengthen our relationship with each other and with Christ.  I invite you to be part of this journey with us.

The Lee’s Summit Community of Christ is so much more than a church building.  It is a safe place of love, fellowship, fun and worship.  It is family.
